Valley Stories is a community project set in the Lynn Valley neighbourhood of

North Vancouver. It involved over 100 participants ranging in ages from pre-schoolers to Senior citizens and took place at a daycare, high school and senior’s centre.  The resulting arch pictured above stands as a welcoming gate to the Lynn Valley Recreation Centre. It acts as a kind of community scrapbook expressing the feelings, memories and perspectives of residents through stories, drawings, paintings and archival photographs.
