This photo - ceramic mural is located at the Surrey Arenas Complex in Surrey BC
The intention was to reflect the development of hockey in Canada and in particular to provide a glimpse into the history of women’s involvement with the game.
By using an image of a young female player it is hoped that it will encourage girls and to honor their accomplishments.
